This was a personal milestone. I’ve loved Batman as long as I can remember—collected the comics, the figures, and followed the Nolan trilogy with admiration. When the studio announced an official t-shirt design contest for The Dark Knight Rises, I couldn’t resist.

The challenge: no actor likenesses, no production stills, and no borrowed imagery. Everything had to be 100% original, using only the official logos. Out of over a million global submissions, just 300 were accepted. I had two. And of those, my piece Light of the Moon was selected among the top 50 shown to the studio team—including DC and Christopher Nolan himself.

This design didn’t just celebrate Batman. It brought me closer to the mythos I’ve loved since childhood. It’s one of the proudest moments of my creative life.
